A further witness to 458 BCE – Ezra’s Decree

-

Beginning at the beginning, so to speak, we coordinate with the literal fulfillment of that Covenant Week or 70th Confirmation Week of Dan 9:24-27. The spring Holy Days of Lev 23:1-21, as well as the partial fulfillment of the High Priest atonement of Lev 16:1-19, Heb 9:1-27, are established in chapter 2, “Messiah’s Death, Burial, and Resurrection – 30 CE.” Therefore, in this chapter, we consider the Birth of Christ and look at how we can find the year of his birth, through strictly the Law and the Prophets in conjunction with some of the New Testament.
-
In doing this, we will confirm that 5 BCE in the spring was indeed the time of that birth. Counting the years to the time of his ministry beginning at age 30 we will come to the fall of 26 CE through spring 30 CE for the time of that ministry. This confirms, as a further witness, the interpretation of Ezra’s Decree of 458 BCE to the beginning of Christ’s public ministry of fall 26 CE, fulfilling 69 of the 70 Weeks of Daniel 9, and 3 and ˝ years of that Covenant Confirmation 70th Week up to his being cut off, and then buried in the spring of 30 CE, April 3, Nisan 14, at even, which is biblically a term connoting between 3 and 6 pm in the afternoon, which was the same time the Pesach / Passover lamb of traditional observance was slain.

-

This left the Last Half of the 70th Confirmation Covenant Week, Dan 9:24-27, 3 and ˝ years, the “time, times, and a half,” Dan 7:24-27, which is the “42 months” of Rev 11:1-2; 13:5, for Messiah to fulfill, confirm with the nation of Israel and Jerusalem to bring in the six blessings of Dan 9:24, consequent upon his return, “the consummation.” This Last Half of the 70th Week began spring, 1984, simultaneously terminating the “Seven Times More” of Lev 26:18-39, which is the Times of the Gentiles of Luke 21:24, where the end of that time is the “Fullness of the Gentiles” in Rom 11:7; 11:25-27, when those Seven Times are “come in,” completed, and finished. We give a diagram at this point, to clarify and solidify this in our minds,

458BCE<483yrs>|1st Half>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>|Last Half

-

Fall 458 BCE to fall 26 CE transpires consuming 69 Weeks of years or 483 years to the start of Christ’s ministry fulfilling the First Half of Daniel’s 70th Week. 3 and ˝ years of that ministry ended in Christ’s rejection by national Israel in spring of 30 CE. This left the Last Half of 3 and ˝ years of the 70th Week to begin completion or its countdown simultaneously at the end of the previously undetermined time from 537 BCE, the Seven Times of Lev 26:18-39. WITHIN those Seven Times, the Time of the Gentiles of Luke 21:24 is the SMALLER previously undetermined time, called by many “the Age of Grace,” from the rejection, cross 30 CE, to the Second Coming. That final coming begins the Last Half of Daniel’s 70th Week, spring 1984 through fall 1987, inclusive of the fall Holy Days of Lev 23:23-44.

-

The First Coming ending in the rejection of 30 CE at the cross for the NATION of Israel, is distinguished in that it falls WITHIN the greater time of the Seven Times of Lev 26:18-39, during the judgment and blindness of Israel, which began spring 537 BCE, the blindness extending from the 70 years of Babylonian Captivity of 607 – 537 BCE,  “consume the eyes”, Lev 26:14-17, Jer 25:1-11, Jer 29:10-14, into the Seven Times more of Lev 26:18-42, (7 x 360 = 2520 years, spring 537 BCE – spring 1984 CE).  The Last Half of Daniel’s 70th Week, also 3 and 1/2 years, beginning with the Second Coming secretly, or as a “thief,” Luke 21:29-36, I Thess 5:1-11, Rev 16:15, spring, 1984, terminates the Seven Times more judgment as Jesus and Paul stated in Luke 21:24 and Romans 11:25-27 respectively.

-

The Last Half of Daniel’s 70th Week, spring 1984 – fall 1987, is distinguished in that it falls immediately OUTSIDE and AFTER the Seven Times more judgment, spring 537 BCE – spring 1984.

-

It is here we can expect to find the fulfillment NOT found in Jesus’ ministry, by his personal presence returned, as Dan 9:24-27 states, Messiah confirms THE covenant; “he” must be there for the confirmation, entailing Lev 23:23-44 and Lev 16:20-22, Heb 9:27-28, contingent upon Lev 26:40-42 and Acts 3:19-21. The author, in eyewitness, will show all of these things in due time in this publication.

-

COUNTING JUBILEES

-

Arriving at 5 BCE, which we show is the year of Messiah’s birth, necessitates that we first address another major Torah mandate fulfilled by the Birth of Christ. Those mandates are in Lev 25 and are a rigid counting of years making a 50-year cycle that repeats every fifty years, until we arrive at their purpose, which brings the beginning of the fulfillment of the Law of Moses in the Messiah.

-

Leviticus 25:1-13

1 And the Lord spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying,

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, when ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the Lord.

3 Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof,

4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the Lord: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.

5 That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land.

6 And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee.

7 And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.

8 And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.

9 Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.

10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.

11 A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.

12 For it is the jubilee; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.

13 In the year of this jubilee ye shall return every man unto his possession.
-

Joshua 5:10-12

10 And the children of Israel encamped in Gilgal and kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month at even in the plains of Jericho.

11 And they did eat of the old corn of the land on the morrow after the Passover, unleavened cakes, and parched corn in the selfsame day.

12 And the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna anymore; but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.

-

As we have just read in the Law of Moses or Torah, Israel was to count a 50-year cycle composed of 7, seven-year cycles and one additional year tallying those 50 years. After this, the 51st year would be the 1st year of the next 50-year cycle. This formula was to commence when they entered the land, which we perceive was in the spring at the time of Passover under Joshua. At that time, the manna stopped, and they were to begin eating from the produce of the land. This is the point from which the 1st year of the first 50-year cycle would have started its countdown.
-

Confirmed by extensive consideration of this presentation, which we will give in detail and clarify as we proceed, as also represented on the Time Chart: Adam to Second Coming of Messiah, it can be determined that from the death of Christ in 30 CE back to the call of Abraham was 1954 years. 26 CE, the beginning of Christ’s Ministry, his birth confirmed as 5 BCE, along with firm dates for the Babylonian Captivity of 607 – 537 BCE, and then consulting the Bible record for Kings of Judah according to precedent of Genesis 49:10, and understanding Ezekiel 4:1-6, by revelation to Michael, Dan 10:21, and then from him, in conjunction with 586 BCE destruction of the Temple, leads 430 years (390 plus 40 = 430) counted back earlier to the building of foundation of the Temple in 1016 BCE. 480 years back from there, as stated in I Kings 6:1, we come to the Exodus in spring 1495 BCE, 1496 BCE being the last full year Israel was in Egypt. The Apostle Paul, one of the most devout followers of Torah was taught the Law by the renowned teacher at the time of Christ and the Apostles according to Acts 5:34 and 22:3, Gamaliel. Paul states in

-

Galatians 3:16-17

16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, and to seeds, as of many; but as of one, and to thy seed, which is Christ.

17 And this I say that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of no effect.

-

We see here that according to Paul and therefore Gamaliel, the giving of the Law was in the spring of 1495 BCE, 430 years after the 1925 BCE Call of Abraham. This is further confirmed in the fact that the tabernacle built by the specifications of that Law was set up for the first time on the first day of the first month in the second year according to

-

Exodus 19:1, 19:5 and 40:17

19:1 In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.
. . . .

19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
. . . .

40:17 And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.

-

The last full year in Egypt was 1496 BCE being also the 430th year from the Call of Abraham in 1925 BCE. The Exodus occurred in the next year or the spring of 1495 BCE, this being also the year of the giving of the Law of Moses in the third month which was still spring and the first year of the Children of Israel’s 40-year wilderness journey. The obvious conclusion going back 430 years brings us to the SPRING for the Call of Abraham as well.

The Proper Pharoah - Thutmose II not Rameses

-

As a side note to this, we will briefly address the historical facts showing that 1495 BCE was the correct year for the Exodus, which in turn gives us our bearings for the exact year to start the count of Jubilees or 50-year cycles. This is the Bible connection from the Law and the Prophets to the birth of Christ and therefore to Daniel’s 70th Week. The Exodus occurred at the time of the Pharaoh Thutmose II, who lost his firstborn in Egypt's final plague, Exod 12:29-30, leaving the throne to his sister Hatshepsut and eventually her nephew Thutmose III, after Thutmose II drowned in the Red Sea with his army according to

-

Exodus 14:17, 27-28

17 And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honor upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

. . . .

27 And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.

28 And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; THERE REMAINED NOT SO MUCH AS ONE OF THEM.

-

Contrary to the Rameses theory, no “undisputed” mummy for Thutmose II remains. As a result, of this judgment in the Red Sea as well as the plague of the firstborn being slain, Egypt had to bear the reproach that a woman, Hatshepsut, was left to rule the kingdom. Additionally, after her death and up through the actual time 200 years later of Rameses, there was a massive effort to adjust evidence in Egypt proper concerning her reign over Egypt, as well as obliteration of records of Israel being in Egypt at all.

-

Clear, again, ‘undisputed’ evidence for Thutmose I and II, her immediate predecessors, has never been discovered. There are disputes among archeologists over mummified remains and a number of other mummies as to their identity during this Dynasty in Egyptian history. There is also evidence that some mummies have been moved a number of times and had gold and other things stripped from their coffins and persons, causing questions around these bodies and why they were moved and stripped. This is speculated not to be grave robbers, but rather due to hard times in later dynasties that required this looting and moving of bodies and burial chambers for financial purposes.

-

In short, the time around the Exodus has some of the poorest records as compared to other dynasties perfectly intact, supporting the fact that this adjusting did indeed occur to eliminate the great stigma and reproach of the events under Moses and the Exodus and their effects and scars on Egyptian pride and perceived supremacy over the ancient world at that time. This is depicted in the Hollywood production of the Exodus, in DeMille’s THE TEN COMMMANDMENTS, as Seti having the evidence of Moses removed from all monuments as if he never existed.

-

What is clear however is that Hatshepsut had to reign until Thutmose III came of age. The fact that some of her monuments and artifacts show her with an added beard certainly brings to the forefront this attempt to cover the true history of Moses, the 215-year existence of Israel in Egypt, and the Exodus. The dating of Thutmose I, II, III and Hatshepsut are also before, during, and after the time of the Exodus in 1495 BCE.
-
THE BLANKET OF ERROR:

-

The blanket approach to Exodus 12:40-41 is also in error taking this scripture out of context with the remainder of the biblical record and leaving it to stand alone without the other scriptures to further qualify it.

-

Exodus 12:40-41

40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.

41 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt.

-

When restricting consideration solely to the 12 tribes that entered Egypt with their father Jacob under the protection of Joseph, those 12 tribes, inclusive of Jacob, physically dwelt in the land of Egypt, prior to the Exodus, 215 years. The 430 years stated in Exodus 12:40-41 includes Abraham and his stay in Egypt as well, according to Genesis 12:10, which occurred immediately after he received the Call in 1925 BCE.

-

Genesis 12:1-10 (Selected)

1 Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curses thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

4 So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

5 And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.

6 And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land.

7 And the Lord appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this

land: and there built he an altar unto the Lord, who appeared unto him.

8 And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he built an altar unto the Lord, and called upon the name of the Lord.

9 And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the south.

10 And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land.

-

IN THE LOINS OF ABRAHAM:

-

Paul in Hebrews, in making his point about the Priesthood of Melchisedec being greater than the Aaronic Priesthood, states that Levi, Jacob’s son, paid tithes to Melchisedec by virtue of being in Abraham’s loins when Abraham paid those tithes according to

-
Hebrews 7:4-11

4 Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.

5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:

6 But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham and blessed him that had the promises.

7 And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.

8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receives them, of whom it is witnessed that he lives.

9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receives tithes, paid tithes in Abraham.

10 For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.

-

430 Years from the Call of Abraham in 1925 BCE

Until 1495 BCE Exodus and Giving of the Law of Moses

-

Therefore, in this manner, the 430 years from the Call and Covenant with Abraham to the giving of the Law under Moses proves that Abraham was a sojourner with the Children of Israel (they still in his loins) in Egypt BEFORE THEY WERE BORN. This is the understanding when comparing Paul’s statement in Galatians 3:16-17, with Exodus 12:40-41.

-

400 Years from Isaac’s Confirmation at Age 5

-

Additional confusion has existed around the verse in Genesis 15:13-14 stating that Abraham’s seed (not Abram / Abraham himself) would be afflicted in Egypt 400 years.

-

Genesis 15:13-14

13 And he said unto Abram, know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

14 And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

-

In 1895 BCE Isaac started his affliction of 400 years being 5 years old. Why five??? As given to the author, by Michael of Dan 10:21, we will clarify by the following:

-

At the Birth of Isaac,

Abraham, 75 years of age at the Call, Gen 12:1-4,

Was 100 Years Old in 1900 BCE

-

Genesis 21:5

And Abraham was a hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.

-

Upon that birth and Isaac being weaned, Abraham was told by God to send away Hagar and Abraham’s firstborn Ishmael having already declared in Genesis 16 that Ishmael would be multiplied in seed so that it could not be numbered. Moreover, Ishmael would dwell in the presence of all his brethren, insuring him a blessing in the land of Abraham. This blessing to Ishmael and sending away is recorded in

-

Genesis 16:10-12

10 And the angel of the Lord said unto her (Hagar), I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.

11 And the angel of the Lord said unto her, Behold, thou art with child and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael, because the Lord hath heard thy affliction.

12 And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren. (Chief Patriarch and the brother to Ishmael was Isaac, father, and ancestor to Jacob and the 12 Tribes of Israel. Therefore, Ishmael and the Arabs are given inheritance “in the presence” of the descendants of Isaac.)

-

Genesis 21:10-13

10 Wherefore she (Sarah) said unto Abraham, cast out this bondwoman and her son (Hagar and Ishmael): for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.

11 And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight because of his son.

12 And God said unto Abraham, let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

13 And also of the son (Ishmael) of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed.

-

After limiting Abraham to Isaac through whom the Promised Seed would come, “in Isaac shall thy seed be called,” it was only upon Isaac being offered back to God in the supreme test of Abraham’s faith that Isaac was confirmed as seed of Abraham according to Promise as we stated in

-

Genesis 22:15-18

15 And the angel of the Lord called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,

16 And said, by myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:

17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the seashore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies.

18 And in thy seed (Isaac) shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
-

The Offering of Isaac Was at Age 5 in 1895 BCE

400 Years before the Exodus in 1495 BCE

-
400 years back from the year of the Exodus in 1495 BCE according to
Genesis 15:13-14, brings us to the year of the offering of Isaac in 1895 BCE as Abraham’s seed through which the Promise was to be confirmed manifested through Isaac’s seed in Messiah born through his physical lineage. It was at this point in Isaac’s life that he then was the seed afflicted 400 years according to Genesis 15:13-14 just considered earlier.

-

We say Isaac was 5 years old when entering into this affliction because counting from the age of Abraham, of 75 years old in 1925 BCE at the Call of Abraham, forward 25 years to Isaac’s birth when Abraham was 100 years of age as we just saw in Genesis 21:5, brings us to the year 1900 BCE. 400 years back from the Exodus, according to Genesis 15:13-14 quoted above, brings us to 1895 BCE for the confirmation of Isaac as that afflicted seed. This leaves 5 years from Isaac’s birth to the confirmation in the Mount Moriah test of Abraham’s faith, called in Hebrew “The Akedah” or “The Binding.” This began Isaac’s affliction as Abraham’s seed at age 5 and began the 400 years of Genesis 15:13-14. From that point in time, he was part of the Children of Israel’s total affliction in Egypt of 430 years. The counting of Israel’s affliction of 400 years included Isaac at age 5, from the time Abraham offered him up in 1895 BCE, Genesis 22, until the Exodus of the Children of Israel from Egypt, which totaled 430 years from the call of Abraham in 1925 BCE, Genesis 12 unto 1495 BCE, Exodus 12.

-

Jacob Born in 1840 BCE

When Isaac Was 60 Years Old

-

Jacob was born when Isaac was 60 or in the year 1840 BCE according to

-

Genesis 25:26

And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bore them.

-

Jacob 130 Years of Age

When He Stands Before Pharaoh in 1710 BCE

215 Years Later the Exodus occurs in 1495 BCE

-

Jacob states that he is 130 years old when he entered Egypt and stood before Pharaoh according to

-

Genesis 47:9

9 And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, the days of the years of my pilgrimage are a hundred and thirty years: few and evil have the days of the years of my life been, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.

-

This year that Jacob entered Egypt and stood before Pharaoh was 1710 BCE. 215 years completed years later, including 1710 BCE, leaves spring of 1495 BCE for the Exodus.

-

As a minor point that some may find of interest, we have often heard the expression in the old Christian song, “Rock my soul in the bosom of Abraham, O! Rock-a-my soul!” But have we ever considered the truth of that statement? Well in short, this is where Isaac was, between his birth and the start of his affliction as the confirmed son of Abraham. He was protected in the bosom of Abraham prior to being confirmed as his son. After that confirmation he was then, from that point on, part of the affliction from where we count the 400 years of Genesis 15:13-14. This was PART of the grand total of 430 years from the Call of Abraham in 1925 BCE unto the first year of the Exodus 1495 BCE, according to Exodus 12:40-41 and Galatians 3:16-17 already quoted above. We close this discussion of the years leading to Jubilee counting, and its significance in determining the birth of Christ, with another little diagram laying out these years, so we can see them side by side with clarity.

Jubilees and the Birth of Christ

-

40 Years after the Exodus in 1495 BCE

Israel Enters the Land in 1455 BCE

This Is the First Year of the First 50-Year Cycle

-

We now return to the consideration of Jubilees and how they bring us to the birth of Christ. Leaving the land of Egypt in that Exodus in the spring, in the year 1495 BCE also was the first year of the 40-year journey of the Children of Israel in the wilderness. The last year of the journey was 1456 BCE the 40th year. The first year that they entered the land, which was the first year of the first 50-year countdown, according to Leviticus 25:1-13, was spring, 1455 BCE. The first 50-year cycle would have ended with the fiftieth year being 1406 BCE. 1405 BCE would be the first year of the next 50-year cycle. This means every cycle after that would start in the spring of a year xx55 or xx05 BCE, with the Jubilee or fiftieth year being spring of the year before in xx56 or xx06 BCE.

-

Purpose Justifies Any Progression When Arriving at the Goal:

-

We make no apology for this, as it may seem, lengthy progression and math lesson because we now will show the importance and purpose for which this was detailed in the Law of Moses. In the Prophets or testimony to that Law, we have the following prophecies in a threefold cord of Ecclesiastes 4:12 pointing to the deliverance of Israel.

-
Isaiah 37:30-32 and II Kings 19:29-31

30 And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such as groweth of itself; and the second year that which springs of the same: and in the third-year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit thereof.

31 And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward:

32 For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: THE ZEAL OF THE LORD OF HOSTS SHALL DO THIS.

-

Here in this prophecy, recorded in Isaiah 37:30-32, and then repeated verbatim in II Kings 19:29-31, we find the year of the confirmation for this deliverance ensuring that the zeal of the Lord of hosts shall do or perform this. The only other place recorded in the Bible where this statement “the zeal of the Lord of host shall do this” is also concerning the birth of Messiah according to:

-

Isaiah 9:6-7

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. THE ZEAL OF THE LORD OF HOSTS WILL PERFORM THIS.

-

AGAIN, NOT THE JUBILEE YEAR – 50TH, BUT THE YEAR AFTER – 51ST:

-

That birth was at the beginning of a new 50-year cycle. The two years that are marked clearly here follow in accordance with Leviticus 25:4 and 11, by virtue of NO PLANTING AND NO REAPING for both years. The only place where that would be the case, for two years in a row or consecutive years, would be at the end of the Jubilee cycle of 50 years. In the 49th year there was no sowing or reaping in that it was a seventh year of the seventh cycle followed by the 50th year where again there was no sowing and reaping. After these two years ending the 50-year cycle, in the next year there IS sowing and reaping, beginning in the spring, because it is the 51st year or first year of the next 50-year cycle.
-
Spring Harvest and Not the Fall

-

The remnant that takes root downward and bears fruit upward is confirmed in Messiah as indicated in

-

John 12:24

Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone: but if it die, it brings forth much fruit.

-

1 Corinthians 15:20

But now is Christ risen from the dead and become the first fruits of them that slept.

-

That corn of wheat was Christ. He was the first fruits of the remnant or those who slept under the Law and Prophets waiting for deliverance in Messiah. Upon his death, burial, and resurrection, and later, on the Day of Pentecost, that life, or mindset of the Father, the understanding of truth in Christ that set them free, came from the presence of the Father back upon the people. This was Christ or the Anointing in them whereby they could bear fruit upward being the first ones up from the dead in the First Resurrection, according to John 5:24-25. The confirmation that this WOULD take place came 34 years earlier when in 5 BCE, according to these above prophecies in Isaiah 37 and II Kings 19, as well as Isaiah 9, Christ was born on the first year of that Jubilee 50-year cycle, fulfilled from the spring.

-

No Other Bible Event on a Year after Jubilee

-

From the time that this prophecy was given in 713 BCE, the fourteenth year of Hezekiah, during the invasion of Judah by Sennacherib king of Assyria according to Isaiah 37:1, other than the Birth of Christ, there has been no Bible recorded event specifically on the year after Jubilee, the 51st year, which is the first year of a new Jubilee cycle. This is further confirmation that this is the event to which this prophecy pointed. The only other event, in Bible history to occur in proximity, was on a year of Jubilee and not the year after. It was the invasion of Nebuchadnezzar in 607 making 606, the year of Jubilee, in Israel’s Babylonian Captivity. Ironically, the very cycle that was to produce a release from debt and servitude on that Jubilee year of 606 BCE according to Leviticus 25, starting with verse 13, produced the exact opposite. As it states, ye shall return every man to his possession, but due to Israel’s disobedience and violation of the Covenant with God, this became the first full year of their servitude to the King of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar.

-

Christ states he is metaphorically the “corn of wheat,” which is reaped in the spring, and not some other fruit that is seasonally reaped in the fall according to

-

John 12:24

Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone: but if it die, it brings forth much fruit.

-

As understood from Joshua 5:10-12 and Leviticus 25:1-2, the counting of Jubilee cycles began in the spring when Israel entered the land in 1455 BCE. Late winter and early spring of every year xx55 or xx05 BCE was the first planting and harvest of each new 50-year cycle. It follows that Messiah and the deliverance promised through the remnant according to Isaiah 37 and II Kings 19 would fulfill the first planting and harvest of a first year of a 50-year cycle and not wait for the second planting and harvest of the fall. Additionally, the Call of Abraham is seen in the spring by math deduction of 430 years back from the Exodus in early spring of 1495 BCE and the giving of the Law in that same late spring, where Joshua entered the land in the spring of 1455 BCE that initiated the Jubilee count, spring to spring.

Messiah Born in Spring 5 BCE

Determining the Season Using

Scripture and Logical Deduction

-

Moreover, when we examine the record of Christ’s birth compared to the fact that Joseph and Mary traveled to Jerusalem for the Passover EVERY year, according to Luke 2, and verse 41 in particular, and there is no mention of a return to Nazareth after the taxation before they were seen in the temple for Mary’s purification, verses 22-39, we can understand why the inn was full, verse 7, during these spring Holy Days in Bethlehem and time of people returning to their birth city for taxation, just outside of Jerusalem.
-
Illogical
-

It is illogical that they came twice to Jerusalem that same year, an approximate 65-mile walk riding on a donkey one way from Nazareth, especially Mary being with child, just because of the census / tax decree of Caesar Augustus.
-
Logical

-
It is logical, with Jews celebrating the beginning of the year in spring and no specific time of the year given for that Roman census / tax in this Bible record, Nisan the first month of the Hebrew year, seasonably much more favorable for travel than the heathen origins of the date of December 25, aligns with their trip for the Roman census / tax as they made their yearly journey for Passover,
Luke 2:41.

-

Born King

-

Additionally, the new year when the kings started their reign, and from which those years were numbered, is from the spring, where even Jewish tradition calls this the “new year of the king” and also, traditionally, all contracts are dated by Nisan 1. Of course, the Torah new year for Israel leaving Egypt under Moses is stated in Exodus 12 as Nisan 1 in the early spring 1495 BCE. Putting this together with the time of Jesus birth we have in

-

Numbers 24:16-19

16 He hath said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the Most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:

17 I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Scepter shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.

18 And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly.

19 Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion and shall destroy him that remains of the city.

-

Matthew 2:1-2

1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

2 Saying, where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east and are come to worship him.

-

As many things that were damaged as to the actual truth by Constantine’s amalgamation of Christendom with the Roman Empire, people’s notion of the nativity of Jesus has the wise men at the manger scene with the shepherds in Bethlehem. This is erroneous. They came to honor him that is born King of the Jews after the nativity scene, Jesus being born there in the spring around the time of Passover when Joseph and Mary yearly went to Jerusalem, Luke 2:41, this being the new year in Nisan as dictated by Torah, and by tradition the beginning of the king’s reign, as well as Jewish contracts of business are dated by this Nisan, spring timing. Therefore, it follows the contract for Roman census / tax would have been based upon the spring, Nisan, the month of Passover. Also as stated in Deuteronomy 16:16-17, this was the time of year for Israel, twice over the next two months in the spring, for the males to present themselves and give of their increase. Therefore, it follows again that Rome would have expected to take the Roman tax at this same time when the men of Israel were so gathered for Israel’s taxation as well.

Fall Fulfillment Still Future

Messiah ben Judah – David

Messiah ben Joseph

-

As we will show, any fulfillment concerning the fall harvest is left for, and fulfilled during, the return or Second Coming of Christ and Second or Last Half of Daniel’s Covenant Week of Daniel 9. Jesus was beginning his 31st year or said to be about 30 years old when he began his ministry as stated in Luke 3:23. This is the same age when both David and Joseph came to leadership, age 30, according to II Sam 5:4-5 and Gen 41:46 respectively.

-

David, having his connection to the patriarchs and the blessing and prophecy of Jacob in Gen 49:8-12, (Messiah ben Judah – David) is fulfilled in Messiah as the victorious King putting all enemies under his feet as stated in I Cor 15:22-28.

-

Joseph, having this same connection in Gen 49:22-26, is fulfilled in Messiah as the one rejected by his own brethren, yet available to save them in the end as seen in Dan 12:1-7. Both of these blessings, prophecies MUST be fulfilled where a time of rejection is experienced but eliminated in the restitution, redemption, and FULL resurrection when Messiah is revealed, with all mysteries made known, Rev 10:7, Isa 29:11-24, Dan 12:1-4, in the completion of God’s Plan and Purpose at the Second Coming publicly, called also “the Appearing.”

-

In Summation

-

In summation, spring 5 BCE was the birth of Christ and the only biblical event to occur on a year after Jubilee since the prophecy of Isa 37 and II Kings 19 was given. Therefore, it fulfills the Law of Moses, Lev 25:1-13, and the purpose for this instruction, thus ending the need for that counting any further having fulfilled that Law and that prophecy. This also confirms 26 CE at age 30 for the beginning of Christ’s Ministry giving an equally firm 483-year, 69-week, count back to 458 BCE for the start of Daniel’s 70 Weeks. So, we have three witnesses to the same thing.
-
THREEFOLD CORD –
ECCLESIASTES 4:12

-
One – The count of Jubilees from 1455 BCE to Christ’s birth in spring of 5 BCE, and then counting 30 years to his ministry in 26 CE, fulfilling Jacob’s blessing to David and Joseph,
Gen 49, both starting their tenures at 30 years old.

Two - 483 years, 69 weeks of years, count from Fall of 458 BCE to Fall of 26 CE to start the 70th and final Week of Daniel 9:24-27

Three – April 3, Preparation Day, Wednesday, Nisan 14, 30 CE being the only week where the burial of Messiah and his resurrection displays a full 72-hour, three 24-hour days, composed of 3 days and 3 nights, ending in his resurrection, where he was seen as the Sheaf of First Fruits on the 4th day, Sunday, April 7, Nisan 18.

-

34 Years of Age

-

Christ being born in the spring as the corn of wheat of the spring harvest and dying in the spring as the Passover Lamb confirms that he was about 34 years of age at the crucifixion leaving from the Mount of Olives 40 days later being 34 years old, beginning his 35th year. We also note here, it was 1954 years from the Call of Abraham to the Death of Christ. It also follows that Christ, this same Jesus, Acts 1:11, will be 34 years old when he returns, beginning his 35th year, to fulfill the Last Half of Daniel’s 70th Week, even as he was 34 years old and just into his 35th year in 30 CE, 1954 years after the call of Abraham, when he fulfilled, confirmed, the First Half of Daniel’s 70th Week and then ascended, Acts 1. This began when he was 30 years old, well into his 31st year in the fall of 26 CE and ran 3 and ˝ years to the spring of 30 CE.

This is the close concerning Christ’s birth and the outline of history bringing us to that event. We have already addressed in Chapter 2, the witness of the week in 30 CE he was slain, 30 CE, yielding 3 full 24-hour days between entering the grave Wednesday, just before sundown, and his resurrection Saturday, just before sundown, thus seen on Sunday, which biblically started the evening after sundown Saturday, Gen 1:14-19.

-

Again, all these witnesses confirm meticulously the First Half of the 70th Week fulfilled, leaving totally void of any details the Last Half, which WAS NOT fulfilled whatsoever. THIS IS BECAUSE THE ONE TO DO THAT... MESSIAH, WAS GONE TEN DAYS BEFORE PENTECOST, AND MUST BE PRESENT ON THE GROUND IN JERUSALEM, PERSONALLY, BODILY AGAIN, TO FULFILL THE LAST HALF.

-

This is the proper hope that did not make haste in speculative assumptions of past fulfillment of Preterism, or look for future fantasy in Dispensationalism, but rather had confidence THAT. . .  He which has begun by the Word of the Law and the Prophets (OT) shall so finish by that same plan. Amen.
-
Now in Chapter Four we will enter one of the most misunderstood portions of Daniel, as one leaves the very popular
Daniel 9:24-27, to enter Daniel 10. This is due to people, yes, so-called scholars, guessing the meaning of Daniel. However, that guessing is terminated when the one with authority comes forward, Dan 10:21, Dan 12:1-7, Rev 5:1-7, that same one manifested as Israel’s Great Prince Michael, turning us to the Sovereignty of God, as all and in all, via THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL.
